How To Apply
For a Passport or a Visa

The Embassy of India in Kuwait will only accept Passport & Visa application forms that have been submitted at the Indian Passport & Visa Service Centre in Kuwait. Application process consists of following steps:

Step 1 - Complete an application form
Any applicant who wishes to apply for Indian Passport or Indian Visa needs to fill a Passport or Visa application form. A separate form must be completed for each services. Application form should be filled in capital letters and should be signed by the applicant before submission.

Step 2 – Submission
In order to submit the application you need to come to the Indian Passport & Visa Service Centre in person. Application brought by representatives needs to be accompanied by letter from applicant and ID proof of representative. Please note we will not be able to accept your application in case you forward your application through representative without an authority letter and ID proof.

How long will it take
For your application to be processed?

The expected processing time may vary by Passport or Visa category. You will be informed at the time of acceptance of your application as to how long it would take to process it. Please allow for extended processing timelines during peak seasons.

We recommend that you apply well in advance before your intended date of travel.

Processed applications can be collected from the Indian Passport & Visa Service Centre - in person or through a representative who should have the required authority letter from the applicant with ID proof.
